The Government has adopted a strategy that forms the basis for Sweden’s cooperation with UNESCO for the period 2018–2021. Based on the organisation’s relevance and effectiveness, the strategy lays down objectives and forms of cooperation for the period covered. The strategy outlines how Sweden will contribute to strengthening UNESCO’s activities and is also clarifies the division of responsibility between Swedish stakeholders.
